Dark circles and puffy eyes are very much common among every sex of all ages now a days. Fast paced life, hectic schedules, hormones and genetics and poor living lifestyle are some of the major reasons for these stubborn hyperpigmentation around the under eyes area.The skin under eye area is the thinnest and sensitive on the entire body  
Fortunately there are many things to address them, from brightening-eye creams and serums to vitamin infused concealers. 


What causes dark circles 

Periorbital hyperpigmentation is commonly known as the dark circles can be caused by lack of diet rich, poor circulation, genetics, life style choice and some times by the overproduction of melanin around the eyes area which gives color to the skin. 
Some people have more thinner area around the eyes genetically which causes poor blood circulation. Lifestyle choices like poor sleeping habits and lack of nutrition in diet can also contribute to this.

Make sure to have a proper sleep pattern and having enough sleep is the cheapest method to cure dark circles. Sleeping not only help you look brighter but also rejuvenate your skin cells. Having chamomile tea before bed helps you in sleep and make your mind relax.




2. Cutting down sodium 

Sodium aka salt which is the main reason for water retention in the body, causes the puffiness in eyes, cutting the salt in diet will make you appear less tired and having a diet rich in vitamins A,C,E and K helps in reduction of dark circles and puffiness.

3. Stay hydrated 

Body compensate for water by retaining it in the cells if you are not well hydrated resulting in under eye bags and puffiness. That is why make sure to drink lots of water and it is also a very good detoxifying drink with zero calorie which helps in better bowel movement.

1. Sweet Almond oil

Sweet almond oil works wonder for your skin, super moisturizing rich in vitamin E and K which helps in circulation and brightens the area and if applied on your skin gives a natural glow. Only thing you have to do is take some drops pat on your under eye area using your fourth finger. It will reduce inflammation and puffiness, if you apply it regularly, you should see a difference in few weeks.


2. Potato

Potatoes are rich in vitamin A and C, starch and other enzyme called catecholase which brightens and helps in reduction of dark spots while vitamin C in it boosts collagen production, reduces premature aging and prevents wrinkles. For DIY, combine potato juice with a teaspoon of honey and apply under-eyes for 30 minutes and wipe it with damp cloth. 3. Under eye serums 

Applying under eye serums infused with retinols, vitamin C not only helps in brightening the area but also moisturize it, produce callogen, reduces signs of pre-mature ageing, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles
