 Winter bring lot of things we love hot coco, long nights, cozy blankets and the winter fashion. But with all these come the chilly winds, dry and cold air which make skin dry and itchy, especially the lip area- dry, cracked and peeled. 

Loss of moisture from the lips because of three factors- the environment, lack of hydration and the ingredients and products applied.

Here are tips how to take care of chapped lips and how to prevent them


1. Drinking water

Yes. Water simple plain water is the magical drink to prevent lots of skin and health issue. Winters are harsh and cold dry winds even make your lips more cracked loss of moisture is the main cause of chapped lips which can be cured by drinking lots of water and keeping your body hydrated.

2. Exfoliating 

Never bite your peeled lips or pick up the skin instead exfoliate them using a moisturizing sugar-based lip scrub gently massage your lips to remove the all the dead skin. Exfoliating make your lips soft and smooth and increase the blood circulation around this area which make your lips look plumper.

3. Hydrating lip balm

4 Using hydrating, creamy lipsticks

Matte lipsticks are very much in trend but these lipsticks will make your lips dry. Its is best to wear much hydrating and creamier formula to prevent your lips from drying.

Chapped lips are not healed in one day but by following these tips you can revive your lips health.
